Trip to Arrow Rock, Mo 2010

On September 11, 2010 the group attended Pump Boys and Dinettes at the Lyceum Theatre in Arrow Rock MO. Arrow Rock is famous for, well , the rocks were great for making arrow heads and tools. The flint and limestone that made up the surrounding bluffs supplied the native people with material to manufacture tools and arrow heads. Archeological digs show evidence of flint napping for a period of 12000 years. One of Missouri best known artist George Caleb Bingham keep a residence in the town. But this day we were there to see \"Pump Boys and the Dinettes\" and work on our farmers tan. Before the play we had lunch at the Hustons Tavern and after the play we stopped in a at Hodgepodge Ice Cream Shop for some dessert. A good time was had by all.
